The City council electricity tariff from July 2022 incline block tariff, 1 – 100 @ R2.1269/unit, 100 – 400 @ R2.4891/unit, 4001 – 650 @ R2.7118/units, anything greater than 651 @ R2,9234/unit.

2. key in the amount you were charged (Total amount charged for electricity in rands (required)*)
3. Insert the amount in kWh in figure only that’s the total number of units you were charged or total amount of units received for the above amount.(Total kWh or units (required)*)

Lastly automatically the amount you are paying per kWh or unit in Rands would be displayed.

If this differs from the actual amount then there’s a problem with the amount in questions.
